Andrea Mahn
Sales & Marketing Manager
My background is as an Employment Manager for Department for Working Pensions. My role was to source and develop large accounts that my target audience, being the Long Term Unemployed could potentially fulfil with a movement into work. I stayed in this role for nearly 14 years and in between working fulltime I became a Mum to Non-Identical twin boys who have kept me very busy and very broke….
I actively take part in running and have been fortunate to complete many full Marathons along the way, as I have a huge interest in sport and leisure due to my ISRM fitness leaders qualification, which enables me to make GP referrals and assessments.
I joined Livewell Group in April 2020 and if I’m honest it’s been like a baptism of fire due to Corona Virus, but you couldn’t want to work for a better company or work with a better team. They all have these strong values around helping, supporting and caring for people.
I have a Marketing and sales leadership level 7 diploma. Even with DWP my role has always worked around education, learning and development and so I would say this is my speciality.
Before children, I was a special constable for Devon and Cornwall Police, I am qualified mediator, and this has allowed me to help many business resolve many conflicts that may have otherwise resulted in staff retention issues. Further to this, I use my recruitment skills and HR knowledge to enable to companies to improve their onboarding experience for new starters.
Lauren Watkins
Training and sales Co-ordinator/PA
My career path has taken me from being a health advisor at NHS 111 to being a Training and sales Co-ordinator/PA at Livewell southwest training network. I have a BSc in Psychology and am currently studying my Masters in Forensic Psychology with mental health part time.
I work mainly in the background here at the network, pulling everything together to ensure that courses run smoothly and go ahead as planned, and I love what I do! Ive been here since October 2023 and have made many great relationships with customers since, internally and externally!
I plan to stay with Livewell Southwest once my Masters is complete, and hopefully forensic psychology department, but for now I’m exactly where I want to be. This role has developed me creatively and allowed me to have autonomy and build my confidence.
I’m married with 2 dogs, 2 cats and a pet snake! So my home life is probably just as busy as work and university, but I thrive in fast-paced environments.
