Our Mental Health First Aid (MHFAider®) course is designed for individuals who want to feel more confident in supporting people experiencing poor mental health, whether at work, in volunteer roles, or in everyday life.
You’ll gain the skills to:
- Recognise when someone may be struggling
- Start supportive conversations with confidence
- Signpost to professional help
- Promote understanding and reduce stigma
- Practise empathy, active listening and self-care
And when you complete the course, you’ll receive a three-year certification and become part of the largest MHFAider® community in England, with access to ongoing support and learning via the MHFAider Support App®.

- Four instructor-led sessions (14 hours total)
