Belinda Allis

I specialise in Child Protection training, while also regularly contributing to the Plymouth Safeguarding Children’s Board (PSCB) Child Protection training.

My main role is to deliver Safeguarding Children’s Training to Livewell staff. I also deliver training in other areas when the need arises including training on Domestic Abuse. I have been a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor for nearly 40 years. My passion during my working life has been the safely and wellbeing of children. I have been fascinated by the research that shows how a child’s early experiences both good and bad impacts on the adults they become and feel lucky I have been able to share this through by work.

I adore living in Devon and the opportunities it offers for walking, swimming and other outdoor adventures often involving my two dogs.
Qualifications: BSc Honours in Biological Science, Registered General Nurse, Certificate in Health Visiting, accredited trainer in DASH (Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment and Honour Based Violence).

We are now offering DASH (Domestic abuse, Stalking and Harrassment) Training!
