With an ageing population, more people are expected to require end of life care. It is essential that healthcare professionals recognise when someone is approaching end of life and support them to plan and consider their wishes.
This workshop supports registered nurses to confidently hold end of life conversations and complete Treatment Escalation Plans for patients where appropriate.

This is a 1-day face-to-face workshop combining theory and practical application through scenario-based learning.

Morning Session
- Identifying end of life (including GSF)
- Advance Care Planning refresher
- Mental capacity and legal frameworks
- Professional accountability
- Ethical decision‑making
- Scenario-based discussion
Afternoon Session
- Having TEP discussions
- Completion of documentation
- Scenario-based skills practice
