This course is designed to give the candidate the knowledge to carry out life saving skills. Course content includes Heart Attack, Drowning, Choking, Adaptations to CPR for child and baby, Recovery Position, Bleeding and Shock. This course is of 3 hour duration.
This session ensures that attendees know how to recognise and respond to an adult, child or infant arrest situation, in line with Resus Council UK guidelines. It incorporates theoretical knowledge and practical application of skills learnt using simulation manikins. The session also includes teaching on how to safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and how to identify and respond when an individual is choking
