Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training – Tier 2
A nationally recognised programme that equips staff with the skills and knowledge required to provide safe, inclusive and person-centred care for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism.

Why this training is important
This training ensures that health and social care staff have the knowledge and skills to support individuals with a learning disability and/or autism in a safe, respectful and person-centred way.
It is part of a national programme aimed at reducing health inequalities and improving outcomes.
Who should attend
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 2 course is designed for staff who have direct contact with individuals and play a role in delivering care.
